About the Book:
Senses of Silence is a story born from the quiet places — the ones our elders carried, the ones history tried to bury, the ones that still hum beneath the skin. It moves through memory, through rupture, through the long echo of Port Chicago, and asks what it means to inherit both the wound and the will to speak.
This is a book about lineage, about the weight of silence, and about the courage it takes to break it.
